Salim Ghouse Biography 
Salim Ghouse is an Indian film actor and theater artist. He also excels in martial arts. He has acted in films of various Indian languages.
Salim Ghouse was born in Chennai in Tamil Nadu. He completed his schooling at the Christchurch School at Chennai and his higher studies at the Presidency College at Chennai. He was very much interested in acting from his school days and so after completing his graduation, he joined the Film and Television Institute of India at Pune and got his degree there. He married Anita Salim.
He is a martial artist and has obtained his 7th degree Black Belt in Okinawan Goju-ryu Karate. He received the title of Kyoshi-Shihan which means a grandmaster in Reiki. He also researches on the styles of Taichichuan.
He entered the film industry in 1978 as a choreographer for the film Swarg Narak. He was a student at that time and made his reentry after ten years. In 1990, his portrayal as villain in the Malayalam film Thazhvaram by Bharathan gave him good exposure and shot him to limelight. He has worked with many popular figures in the film industry such as Shahrukh Khan, Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam and Madhuri Dixit. However he became very popular through the television series Subah.
Some of his films include Vaalu, Well Done Abba, Vettaikaran, Udayon, Daas, Red, Soldier, Maharaja, Koyla, Dharma Sheelan, Thiruda Thiruda, Chinna Gounder, Seeman, Drohi, Thazhvaram, Vetri Vizha, etc.
