Sadh Orhan Biography

Sadh Orhan is a noted character artist associated with Bollywood, known for playing negative shaded roles. He plays terrorist-type of roles on Bollywood screen. Neerja, The Attacks of 26/11 and Special 26 are his noted Bollywood roles. In 2016 he made his Tamil film debut through Killing Veerappan, which earned him appreciation. Baby, Les Cowboys, Ishq malang and Thupaakki (uncredited) are other roles he played onscreen. In his recent release Neerja (2016), he played the one among the three hijackers - Saad Mallik. He is also an acclaimed stage actor, who studied from Bhartendu Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Sadh Orhan is associated with theater plays since his younger days. As a stage actor he has been a part of several plays staged by Shahjahanpur theatre. Then he trained in theatre from Bhartendu Academy of Dramatic Arts (BNA) Lucknow. Orhan was first seen for a film role in a Tamil film – Thuppakki in 2012 starring Vijay. But his role was uncredited. Since then he has acted in many action thrillers, mostly related to terror stories. In 2013 he made his Bollywood debut through a bit role in Special 26. Though a thriller, he was seen in the role of Candidate 19.

The Attacks of 26/11 released in 2013 was his real breakthrough. In this docudrama thriller film directed by Ram Gopal Varma, he played the pivot role of Abu Ismail. Since then he received similar type of roles. He shared screen space with Nana Patekar, Atul Kulkarni and Sanjeev Jaiswal for the movie. The movie was based on the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Now he is receiving similar type of roles. He played a supporting role in 2015 French drama film – Cowboys.
