Sachit Patil Biography

Sachit Patil is a film actor, currently associated with Marathi cinema. He has also done a few Bollywood films earlier. Now he has completely switched over to regional cinema, and has also directed a few Marathi films. He made his directorial debut with the super hit Marathi film - Saade Maade Teen in 2006, and has directed one more film, Kshanbhar Vishranti in 2010. After that he fully switched over to acting, and earned success in this field. He entered Marathi cinema as a film director. One Way Ticket, Paisa Paisa, Classmates and Friends are his noted films as an actor in the recent past. He is currently seen in Colour’s Marathi TV show Radha Prem Rang Rangali.

Sachit Patil was born on 1 March 1979 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He marked his acting debut with Bollywood films which gave him only limited success, and later moved to Marathi cinema where he received success and stardom. Sachit began his film career with the 2003 Suspense thriller, Kyon? But the movie went unnoticed.  After appearing in Hindi films - Sab Kuch Hai Kuch Bhi Nai (2005) and Raasta Roko (2006), he marked his Marathi film debut with Saade Maade Teen in 2007 as a director.

He marked his acting debut with Avdhoot Gupte's Zenda (2010), which was a success at the box office. Since then he is associated with Marathi cinema mostly in acting roles. As of now he has appeared in a dozen of Marathi films, portraying supporting and grey shaded roles. Kshanbhar Vishranti, One Way Ticket, Satya, Savitree ani Satyawan, Paisa Paisa, Samudra, Arjun, Classmates and Friends are among his Marathi film releases.
