Riya Dey is a popular young actress associated with Odia film industry. She was born in Balasore, Odisha on 12 Oct 1991. She is also a model by profession, and a trained Odyssey dancer. She got her first movie offer from Brajaraj Movies for Romeo The Lover Boy, while she was doing her higher secondary studies. Yet she started accepting movies only in 2010. She started her acting career with the Oriya film Prema Adhei Akhyara opposite Babusan Mohanty in 2010. Since then she is regular in Odia films, and mostly plays lead roles on screen. Currently she is a youth sensation, and one of the most sought lead actresses of Ollywood cinema.

Riya Dey hails from Balasore, Odisha. Her birthday is on 12 October 1991. She is a trained classical dancer, who started her formal training from childhood. Now she is well versed in Modern dance also. Though she received her first film offer while dong her Plus – Two studies, she marked her acting debut with the Oriya film Prema Adhei Akhyara opposite Babusan Mohanty in 2010. With her second movie ‘Criminal’ opposite Arindam, she became a sensation among young audiences. Since then she has appeared in more than 15 films, and has romanced with many lead young heroes on silver screen.

Currently she is pursuing her graduation in commerce in Fakir Mohan College, Baleswar. Riya wants to do MBA after graduation.
