Reshma Pasupuleti is a popular television anchor and actress associated with south Indian entertainment industry. She has worked in all south Indian languages. A popular Television actress, she started off her career as a news reader at a TV channel TV5. Later she took anchoring as her profession which she succeeded. She has played some noted roles in Tamil soaps - Vani Rani, Maragatha Veenai, Gayatri & Uyirmei. Reshma was also seen in Tamil films - Masala Padam, KO 2 & En Iniya Thozhiye. KO 2 (2016) is her recent release.

Her father is a film producer. Her education was done abroad. She completed Engineering in Computer Science from University of Saint Joseph Hartford, Connecticut Area. In 2004 she did a 2-year course on software testing. Later she pursued her career as a flight attendant. But when her father had a heart-attack, she returned. At that time she got an offer for English news reading at TV5 – Telugu channel, and she accepted it.

Later she moved to anchoring and acting and she succeeded in both. She acted in the bilingual film, “Ini Vara Naatkal” where she played a grey shaded role. The movie was made in Malayalam and Tamil, and is slated to release in 2016. It’s a physiological thriller. The actress feels that except the language, there is no difference between Tamil and Malayalam language films. Her mother language is Telugu. Yet she is comfortable doing Tamil films right now.

She anchored many shows for TV5, and her association with Sun TV as an actress began in 2007. TV series - “Vamsam” gave her the big break to her acting career. Seeing her success in TV roles, her brother and friends encouraged her to try her luck in movies, and she made her film debut through Tamil film – Masala padam. The movie got released in 2015. In her recent release, Ko2, she played the role of a news reader.
