Rahul Bhat Biography

Rahul Bhat is a successful television actor and model associated with Hindi entertainment industry. He works in both movies and Hindi television shows. He is also a television producer who launched Filmtonic Entertainment in 2007. Meri Doli Tere Angana was his first television soap as a producer, and he later produced successful shows like Chu Kar Mere Manko and Tum Dena Saath Mera. As a film actor, Rahul is best known for his performance in Bollywood film, Ugly. In 2018 he played the lead role of Dev Pratap Chauhan (Devdas) in a revived new version of the old Bengali classic, Devdas. The movie titled Daas Dev is a romantic political thriller directed by Sudhir Mishra.

Rahul was born in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir in the year 1977. He was first seen in 2002 Bollywood film, Yeh Mohabbat Hai in lead role, and later became a part of Bollywood movie, Nayee Padosan, and later moved to television shows as an actor and producer. He launched his own production company in 2007. Ugly marked his comeback to Bollywood after a small break, and later he became regular in Bollywood film roles. Fitoor, Jai Gangaajal, Union Leader, Daas Dev and Chakki are his released movies later.

He played his first lead role on big screen through Union Leader - a 2017 Indian drama film directed by Sanjay Patel. Tillotama Shome played his female lead in this flick. The movie was showcased at various film festivals, including the Hof International Film Festival in Germany and the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival in Florida. But it didn’t receive success at Indian box office. Daas Dev, was his second film in a lead role where he played the iconic Devdas. He played the role of Sameer on the television serial Heena.
