Rachita Ram Biography

Rachita Ram is an Indian actress who primarily works in Kannada language movies. One of Kannada's highest-paid actresses, she has also acted in television skills and popular due to her physical beauty. She originally belongs to Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, and her real name is Bindhiya Ram. After her success in television serials, she made her film debut through Bulbul in 2013, which was commercially successful. She also bagged a Filmfare nomination for best actress. Dil rangeela is her 2014 release and she was paired with her successful hero Ganesh. The movie received mixed response from critics, its songs were well noticed and the movie completed 50 days. Her upcoming movies are Ambareesha and Ranna. She opted out of Vaasthu Prakara to join Ranna team.

Rachita originally hails from Bhopal. Her father is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and performer, who trained her in the same dance form. Rachita too is a Bharatnatyam exponent and has given more than 50 public performances. Her sister Nithya Ram has appeared in a few television serials and one movie, Muddu Manase. Rachita has worked in one television serial – Aarasi before reaching film world. Once she was travelling with her mother for her serial shooting, when she noticed the advertisement of Bulbul. She attended the film audition and landed into the magic world of cinema.

 
Bulbul gave her big break to film industry and now she is one of the young promising actors of Kannada film industry. She chose Ranna, opting out of Puneeth Rajkumar starrer Dheera Rana Vikrama. She is to pair with Sudeep for Ranna. She once again pairs with Darshan for her upcoming release – Ambareesha.
