Pujita Ponnada Biography

Pujita Ponnada is a budding actress associated with Telugu cinema. She has appeared in numerous Telugu short films since 2015, before she joined Tollywood. She gained recognition for the first time through the short film, Upma Thinesindhi. Till now she is best recognized through this role. She plays supporting roles in Telugu movies, and was seen in a string of character roles in 2018 such as Rangasthalam, Raju Gadu, Brand Babu, Seven, Where is The Venkatalaksmi etc. She marked her film debut with 2017 film Darsakudu and was also seen in the music video Chandamama earlier.

Pujita Ponnada was born into a Telugu family at Vishakhapatnam. Her childhood days and teens were spent in Chennai and New Delhi, where she completed her education and got exposed to both south Indian and north Indian culture. Currently she is settled in Hyderabad where she pursues a career in Telugu film industry. Pujita is best known for a series of short films she appeared since 2015. In fact she earned recognition through short films and gave her direct entry to films as well.

After completing her graduation in Chennai, she joined TCS in Hyderabad, where she pursued a career in entertainment industry. A software engineer turned actress, she marked her acting debut with the short film, UpmaTinesindhi in 2015. The short film was directed by the short film maker Srinu Pandranki, who casted her in next short film – Boochi too. Since her debut short film, she shared screen space with Arjun Kalyan for a series of 5 short films. Her short film, UpmaTinesindhi earned her recognition and still now she is best known for this role.
