Pranjal Bhumij Biography 
Pranjal Bhumij is an Indian professional footballer, who also plays in the Indian Super League. He is currently associated with Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League, and plays the role of a forward. Occasionally he turns a striker for his team, and can also play as a winger and an attacking midfielder. In current going ISL, he played as a substitute for his team, and scored a goal at the finishing moment of match against Kerala Blasters. His timely intervening helped the team to get a valuable draw match, and the score card was 1 - 1. Substitute Pranjal Bhumij took a shot from over 35 yards out in the 90th minute, and turned a hero overnight.
Pranjal Bhumij was born on 2 March 1999 in Assam. He belongs to Panibeel Dwarika Nagar in Upper Assam's Sivasagar district. He was associated with DSK Shivajians F.C. during his early days. The new kid on the block with a bright future in football, he was only 18 when he was signed by Mumbai City FC in 2017. He was retained by the team for 2018 ISL season too. He played 3 matches for Mumbai in the last season, and got his first opportunity to play for his team as a substitute, which he converted into a goal in the last moment.
The teenager graduated from the Sports Authority of India centre to I-League outfit DSK Shivajians, Pune in 2016 before signing for Mumbai City FC in 2017. He came off the bench in the 60th minute as a substitute. As a professional player he made his debut on 26 February 2017 against Churchill Brothers. He has played three matches for national team as U-19 player. He played these games in 2017.
