Pranati Rai Prakash is a very successful fashion model from Patna, Bihar. She is the winner of India's Next Top Model 2016 edition, and was also a semi-finalist at Miss India 2015. In 2018, she contested in the TV show, India's Next Superstars.

Pranati was born to Colonel Prem Prakash and Sadhana Rai in Patna, Bihar. Pranati wanted to be a supermodel since she was nine. Brought up in a small town where fashion is not so significant, she pursued her dreams and earned the title of India's Next Top Model 2016 edition. She believes that being brought up in a small town has its own advantages. Life in the metro gives you exposure, but models from small towns learn not to take things for granted, and they strive hard to shoot stars. She shot to fame after winning this title, and also got numerous modelling assignments in hand.

As her father was an army man, her childhood and teens were spent in different cities and towns. Wherever she used to go, she got attracted to FTV, fashion, dresses and discussions related to it. She loves all kinds of clothes, which is a reason why she chose to become a model. She also received support from her parents to pursue a career in fashion and modelling. Yet it was not easy to get guidance to reach the field she was dreaming about. She grew up in military background, with no links to fashion industry.

Later she studied fashion communication from NIFT, Mumbai. After her success in modelling, she wants to continue a few more years in this field before joining acting stream or Bollywood. A Miss India finalist in 2015, she won many sub titles such as Miss Fashion Icon, Miss Talented and Miss Beautiful Legs. Priyanka Chopra is her role model in showbiz.
