Pradeep Pandey Biography

Pradeep Pandey is an Indian actor from Mumbai, who works in Bhojpuri cinema. He is also known as Chintu, the eldest son of filmmaker Rajkumar R. Pandey, a successful filmmaker and music composer of Bhojpuri cinema. Pandey made his acting debut in the Bhojpuri movie Deewana, in 2009. His debut film earned him Juri Mention Award at Bhojpuri film awards. Since then he is fully engaged in Bhojpuri cinema, and has completed about 1 decade in the film industry. He played numerous memorable supporting roles on screen.

Pradeep Pandey was born on 9 December 1992 into a filmy family, with strong links to Bhojpuri cinema. His father Rajkumar R. Pandey is a well-established name in Bhojpuri cinema, known as a film director, producer, music composer and screenwriter. He also runs his own film production company "Saideep Films". Pradeep is also called "Chintu" and "Pradeep Pandey Chintu" in the Bhojpuri film industry. Pradeep studied at Thakur College of Science and Commerce, University of Mumbai, and started his career as a model, before he turned a full-fledged actor of Bhojpuri cinema.

Deewana in 2009 marked his acting debut, and he played a supporting role in the movie starring Dinesh Lal Yadav and Pakhi Hegde. He worked with the same pair for one more movie released the same year, Saat Saheliyan. Devra Bada Satawela, Nagina, Dulaara, Chhora Ganga Kinare Wala, Dulhan Chahi Pakistan Se etc are among his noted appearances later. He worked with some of the leading actors of the industry such as Ravi Kishan, Rinku Ghosh, Dinesh Lal Yadav, Pakhi Hegde, Pawan Singh, Kajal Raghwani, Anjana Singh etc. Mai Re Mai Hamka Uhe Laiki Chahi and Mehandi Laga Ke Rakhna 2 are his most recent releases.
