Poornachandra Mysore Biography

Poornachandra Mysore is a noted actor associated with south Indian film industry. He plays supporting roles on big screen. He has acted in supporting and lead roles in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil films. Poornachandra made big screen debut in Kannada film, Lucia after playing a few roles in short films belonging to different south Indian languages. He also acted in more than 25 short films which include - Niagiria 231, Idi Oka Love Story, Puppet Master, Crush, Second Love, Audition, Black Hole and Patinga. He played his first lead role through Kannada film, BB5 released in 2017.

His name is also credited as Poornachandra M. C. He was born in Mysore on 3 March 1988. Poornachandra started his career with theatre and has been associated with amateur plays before he moved to short films and later to feature films. He also had a brief stint in radio, where he worked as a producer. He later joined short films and got noticed for the first time. He received the Best Actor Award at the South Indian International Movie Awards held at Hyderabad for his role in the Kannada short film ‘Patinga’ (2015), directed by Shashank Soghal. It was his first award for his acting career.

His success in short films very soon bagged him film roles. Poorna marked his film debut in supporting role, and worked in a few movies like ‘Dayavittu Gamanisi’, ‘Orchestra’ etc. He played his first lead in 2017. The movie BB5 was a thriller written and directed by Janardhan N. Radhika Chetan played his female lead. The movie opened to positive reviews and was a box office hit.
