Poojitha Menon Biography

Poojitha Menon is an upcoming Malayalam film actress known for supporting roles. She is also a popular television anchor and businesswoman, who made her Malayalam film debut in Nee Ko Njaa Cha. She played the supporting role of Ann Mathews in her debut movie released in 2013. Arikil Oraal (2013), Ohm Shanthi Oshaana (2014), Maramkothi (2014), Konthayum Poonoolum (2014), St. Marysile Kolapathakam (2015) and Loka Samastha (2015) are her other releases. She owns a fashion outlet of her own.

Poojitha Menon was born in Thrissur on June 29, 1985. She schooled from Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Thrissur. She is married to Sandeep. She started her career as a model, later she turned to a television anchor before she finally debut big screen with the movie - Nee Ko Njaa Cha – a story about three friends and their lover fantasies. She attended a few workshops as a part of the preparation of the role as an anchor for the film. The movie was a midcap comedy and received moderate success at box office. Her role too got well-noticed though it was a brief one. She played Nivin Pauley’s first girlfriend Julie in Ohm Shanthi Oshaana (2014) apart from numerous supporting roles she played onscreen. Poojitha has anchored many shows and has also appeared in several commercials.

She is an MC by profession. She is a businessman woman who owns a fashion outlet of her own. Priyamvadha in Maramkothi, Taara in Arikil Oraal, Julie in Ohm Shanthi Oshaana, Ann in Konthayum Poonoolum and Gayatri in Loka Samastha – this actress has done a few promising supporting roles in Malayalam cinema, though she has been a popular face on small screen before.
