Pavani Gangireddy Biography

Pavani Gangireddy is a Telugu actress, model and a successful blogger. She is married and is the mother of a three-year old girl, before she chose her film career. Most recently she was seen in Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, where she played Nithya Menon’s friend. The movie marked her career beginning as a film actress. A great fan of Nithya, Pavani later confessed that she accepted the role only because Nithya is playing the female lead. Sharwanand played the male lead for the movie, which was a box office success. Pavani is a software engineer by profession.

Pavani was born on 20 August 1987. After graduation in IT, she took IT as her career and currently works in India’s leading IT firm – Infosys, where she heads a team. Acting was never into Pavani’s dreams. Yet she has appeared in a short film. When an assistant director from Kranthi Madhav's team approached her for a role in Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, Pavani showed the short film VindhyaMarutham and that’s how she got the film. It was too good to let it go as Pavani has already rejected several film offers. She never did audition for the role and played Nithya Menon’s friend in Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju.

Pavani is married six years ago and has a daughter of 3 years old. Yet it’s the sole support of her husband that she accepts film offers. The bilingual, Size Zero was her next release – where she worked with Arya and Anushka Shetty. She is currently working on another bilingual – Brahmotsavam and Right Right is under pre-production. She has been a model and is a successful blogger at present.
