Parvatii Nair Biography

Parvatii Nair is a successful model and actress associated with south Indian film industry. Her full name is Parvathy Venugopal Nair. She was trained software professional before she pursued her career in modelling and film industry. She has been featured in numerous TV ads, and also won many titles in modelling field. She won titles such as "Miss Karnataka" and "Miss Navy Queen" in 2010, and marked her acting debut with Malayalam movie, Poppins in 2012. Since then she has acted in all south Indian language films, and has been a part of several acclaimed movies too. Nimir is her recent release, Tamil remake of Malayalam cult classic, Maheshinte Prathikaaram, and she earned Rising star of the year award from Edison Awards (India).

Parvatii was born in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on December 5, 1991 to Malayali parents. She has one elder brother. She spent her childhood days in UAE, where she completed her school education and later shifted to Manipal Institute of Technology in Manipal, Karnataka to complete her Engineering course in IT. She also worked as a software professional for a while, before she pursued modelling as her career. In 2009 she became a full-time model, and earned her first title, "Miss Karnataka". It helped her to become an ambassador for Mysore Sandal soap. She won "Navy Queen Kerala" in 2010, and she featured in numerous ads, and became successful in this field.

In 2011, she got her first offer from Malayalam cinema, which she refused, as she was not sure to pursue a career in films or not. However she marked her acting debut the following year with Poppins, and later featured in all south Indian language films winning several awards. Yakshi – Faithfully Yours, D-Company, Gangs of Vadakkumnathan etc are her noted works in Malayalam cinema. Story Kathe (2013) marked her Kannada debut, and marked her Tamil debut with Gautham Menon's Yennai Arindhaal (2015) and Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain (2015).
