Parul Yadav Biography

Parul Yadav is a successful model and actress who works in movies as well as television. She is concentrated to south Indian film and television industry, most notably Kannada. But her career began as a model in Mumbai and has also appeared in a few Bollywood movies in bit roles. Since 2009 she is acting in television soaps like Bhagya vidhaata of Colors TV and participated in shows like Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala on Star Plus. Kannada film Govindaya Namaha released in 2011 made Parul a big star. The movie also gave her a nomination at Udaya Awards for Best Female actor.

Parul’s career started in Mumbai. She was born and brought up in Mumbai too. She made a brief appearance in 2000 Hindi movie, Meri Aaghosh Mein and 2004 Tamil movie, Dreams. Then she tried her luck in Malayalam by appearing in a couple of action thrillers, Krithyam (2005) and Black Dahlia (2009). She was presented as a modern girl in both these movies. In fact, she was a glamorous girl in the movie, Krithyam (2005) opposite Prithviraj.  She played the lead role of Sandra Punnoose in this movie. But both the movies failed at box office. She didn’t appear in Malayalam movies later.

 
But 2011 gave her big break to Kannada film industry. Govindaya Namaha not only gave her a first hit in her career, it also presented her with a SIIMA Award for Best Female Debutant. She won nomination for best actress at Udaya awards also. She played the lead role named Mumtaz in this comedy drama. Next year she did a cameo appearance in Kannada movie, Nandeesha and has also worked in Bachchan. She played lead role in Bachchan aside Sudeep and Jagapati Babu and the movie was released in 2013. Her upcoming Kannaad projects are Shivajinagara, Apurva and Shravani Subramanya.
