Pamela Jain Biography 
Pamela Jain is a noted playback singer of Bollywood. She has also released a few private albums in Hindi. She is a Bengali, born in Kolkata. She is the granddaughter of famous Bengali novelist, Bimal Mitra. She started singing in Radio station at the age of 16 and was a winner of Meri Awaz Suno (1998) and Adaab Araz Hai (1999). After marriage, she got support from her husband to pursue her dreams as a singer. She has sung popular tracks for Na tum jaano na hum, Calcutta Mail, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey and What's Your Raashee? Hai Rama Yeh Kya Kar daara of Na tum jaano na hum pictured on Hrithik Roshan and Esha Deol is her chartbuster song up-to-date. Apart from Hindi, she has also sung for Bengali, Marathi, Oriya, Gujarati, Bhojpuri and Punjabi.
Her break to playback singing was given by Rajesh Roshan, through a series of movies starting with Moksha. She has sung many popular tracks for Hrithik Roshan movies composed by his uncle, which includes Dil leke and Haye raam of Na tum jano na hum, O re gori of Aap mujhe ache lagne lage and Title song, hamesha hamesha and Hanse tim tim of Koi Mere dil se poochhe. She has also worked with other music directors of the industry including A. R. Rahman, Ravindra Jain, Jeet Ganguly, Sohail Sen etc. Apart from film songs, she has also sung title tracks for many television serials like Kumkum, Sindoor, Kya Dil Mein Hai, Jodha Akbar, Yeh Hai Mohabatein etc.
She was fascinated to singing at a younger age, though she was not all serious to take it as profession. She was brought up in the steel city of Bhilai in Chhattisgarh and during this time she was initiated to music by Pandit Bimalendu Mukherjee. Later she continued learning while at Mumbai under Pandit Aaskan Sharma and at the age of 16 she took it as profession singing for Raipur radio station. She also completed chartered accountant course. Yet she chose music as her career.
