Niketan Madhok Biography

Niketan Madhok is a well-known Indian model who has modelled and done ramp walks for almost all Indian and international fashion brands. He was born and brought up in Delhi. His first professional modeling assignment happened in the year 1994 when he was only 17. In 2002 he shot to fame when he modelled for Lakme Fashion Week. He is a familiar face among music fans as a model for the remixed song, Bheegi bheegi raathom mein. He was paired aside top model, Anupama Varma for the song in 2004 remixed by Leslie Lewis. The romantic number was sung by top south Indian singers, Srinivas and Sujatha Mohan. He has also appeared in many television commercials like Sony Ericsson Mobile phone, Limca etc. He was also a participant of Indian celebrity reality TV show Bigg Boss Season 6 during 2012-2013.

Niketan was born on 9 October 1976 in Delhi. He has one younger sister. His studies were completed from Delhi. He took Mechanical Engineering degree from Delhi Technological University and also took MBA in marketing from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. Despite earning numerous degrees in professional courses, he chose modelling as his career. While studying itself he started his modelling career at the age of 17. Then he regularly appeared in many ramp shows in Delhi.

He moved to Mumbai and participated in Lakme Fashion Week 2002 which proved to be the breakthrough of his modelling career. In 2004, he was chosen as the model for the launch of Bovet Fleurier, a Swiss watch in India. Same year, he appeared in the very popular music video, Bheegi bheegi ratom mein which earned him instant popularity. Apart from modelling, he is craze of car races.
