Nikesh Ram Biography

Nikesh Ram is a seasonal film actor associated with Tamil films. He has done a few films, and appeared in lead and supporting roles. He is a successful businessman too. Jeyikkira Kuthira is his upcoming flick where he plays a lead role. The movie has been delayed for almost three years. He was seen in a cameo role in Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran, and also acted in Athithi and delayed project, Pottu. He played lead role in Athithi in 2014 – his debut film.

Though Nikesh Ram appears in Tamil films, he is a native of Kerala. Kannur is his native place. After doing his graduation, he moved to Tamil Nadu for higher studies. He completed his post-graduation course from Madhurai. He took MBA from Madurai Kamaraj University and very soon he moved to Kuwait where he joined family business. He got married in 2005 and has three children with his wife, Sithara. He also took CPA course from USA in between.

Nikesh Ram made his acting debut through his home production in 2014. The film was produced by his father Ramakrishna Nair. Athithi directed by Tamil director, Bharathan was his debut film. It’s a remake of Malayalam super hit thriller, Cocktail, where Nikesh reprised the lead role of Jaya Surya. Nandha and Ananya played next two pivot roles in the film. The movie received mixed reviews from critics and couldn’t replicate the success of original. The movie was a bit delayed, production costs went high, and there were some issues with the heroine, Ananya as well.

Over the years, Nikesh has done only a few film roles including guest appearances, and his delayed film Jeyikkira Kuthira is waiting for a theatre release. It has lagged for past three years or so. Same is the case of Pottu, where he plays a cameo role.
