Nidhi Bisht Biography

Nidhi Bisht is mainly a casting director who also does character roles on big screen. As an actress she predominantly appears in web series since 2013. In 2019 she played the noted role of Roma, the executive in love with female radio friend in the super hit comedy film, Dream Girl, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana. She was also seen in 2017 fantasy movie, Phillauri and 2015 comedy-drama film, Umrika. She has been a part of web series such as Chai Sutta Chronicles, Permanent Roommates, TVF Tripling, Immature, Bachelors, Bisht, Please! Etc. In 2017 she played the titular role of Neetu Bisht in the web series, Bisht, Please!

A lawyer-turned entertainment professional, Nidhi Bisht was born in 1984/1985. She completed her law studies from the prestigious Jamia Millia Islamia. She is also a lawyer by profession, who started her professional career under Singh and Singh Associates which is an intellectual property rights law firm. As a lawyer she practised in Delhi High Court more than a year. However she left her law job to pursue a career in the field of entertainment. She joined the YouTube channel, The Viral Fever in 2013, and is associated with the group since then.

She marked her acting debut the same year with the web series, Chai Sutta Chronicles where she played Ipsa on screen. As a casting director TVF Pitchers in 2015 marked her debut. She has worked as an assistant director for a few web series and directed the first one - PA-Gals in 2017. After acting in several web series for the past 6 years or so, she came to limelight through 2019 movie, Dream Girl and earned fame.
