Naveen Polishetty Biography

Naveen Polishetty is an Indian film actor who appears in Tamil and Hindi movies. He plays both lead and supporting roles. He marked his screen debut with 2012 Telugu film, Life is Beautiful, and his Bollywood debut most recently in 2019 with Chhichhore. His other releases in Telugu films include - Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, D for Dopidi and 1 – Nenokkadine. He played the titular role of a private detective in 2019 comedy thriller, Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya. The film’s success established his career in Telugu film industry. With the success of Chhichhore, he made an impressive debut in Bollywood film industry as well, and has signed his second Telugu project in a lead role, Jathi Ratnalu.

Naveen Polishetty hails from Hyderabad, Telangana. He was born on December 27, 1989. He completed his graduation from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology. Then he started his professional career as a theatre artist. Apart from acting in plays, he also wrote plays. He came to limelight for the first time after acting in YouTube videos by AIB. He marked his big screen debut with Life is Beautiful in 2012, and stayed in Tollywood for a few years portraying supporting roles.

Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya was his first full-fledged role in lead, and film’s success in year 2019 cemented his position in Tollywood. It also gave him offers from Bollywood. He played the role of Acid – college student with short-tempered nature and an abusive tongue in Hindi-language coming-of-age comedy-drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari. His character was one among the batch mates of ‘Losers’ group, and his role was well appreciated. He has also appeared in a few Hindi shows since 2012.
