Natassha Biography

Natassha is a film and television actress. She was a model also. She is most known for her daily soap of Doordarshan, Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii – one of the earliest of this kind where she played the role of Tanushree/Tanu. She played lead role in successful Bollywood horror/thrillers, Krishna Cottage and Kuch to hai, where she was paired opposite Tusshar Kapoor. She has also played lead role in a few south Indian movies, predominantly Tamil and Telugu.

Natassha’s real name is Anita Hassanandani. She was a successful model before entering movies and television. She entered modelling during late 1990’s and a few of her popular ads include - EverYuth, Sunsilk and Boroplus. She was seen aside Aiswarya in ‘Ishq bina’ song of 1999 movie – Taal. She made her debut on the television screen in daytime soap Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii. Very soon, she became a household name and she got offers for movies as well as other soaps on television. She made her Hindi film debut with the 2003 Thriller film Kucch To Hai, followed by Koi Aap Sa, Yeh dil and Just married. She acted in one of the segments of Dus Kahaniyan. Most recently she appeared in supporting role in Ragini MMS 2.

She has also acted in television serials like - Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki, Teri Meri Love Stories, Kavyanjali, Kayamat and Kya Dill Mein Hai. She has also appeared in Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi. Natassha is a well known film actress of south. Her noted Tamil movies are Samurai, Varushamellam Vasantham and Sukran. She acted in Telugu movies – Aadanthe Ado Type, Thotti gang, Ninne Istapaddanu, Idhi Sangathi, 786 Khaidi Prema Katha, Nuvvu Nenu, Premalo Pavani Kalyan, Nenupelliki Ready and Posani Gentleman. She has also appeared in a few Kannada movies. Veera Kannadiga, Santhosha and Gandugali Kumara Rama are a few among them.
