Murali Vijay Biography 
Murali Vijay is an Indian cricketer from Tamil Nadu. He is currently a member of Delhi Daredevils in Indian Premier League. He has played 23 test matches and 14 ODIs for India. He scored 1,704 test runs at a batting average of 38. 51 and 253 runs at a batting average of 19.46 runs up-to-date. He has also scored one test wicket. His first test match was against Australia in November 2008 and he played his first one-day international match on 27 Feb 2010 against South Africa, in which he scored 25 runs off 16 balls. However he couldn’t score better in T-20 international matches though he was a part of the 2010 ICC World Twenty20.
He was born in Chennai on April fool day in 1984. He completed his education from Chennai. He started playing cricket only at the age of 17, playing domestic cricket for Tamil Nadu. But very soon he reached headlines with his pleasing stroke play. His opening combination with Abhinav Mukund clicked so quickly and the pair made a 462 run partnership in a Ranji match, just two runs short of world record for an opening wicket. As a cricketer he is known as Right Handed Batsman and Right-arm off break bowler. As an international cricketer he debut in the year 2008 against Australia in the final match of Border-Gavaskar Trophy test series, in Nagpur. He made 33 and 40 runs in his maiden match. He also impressed the team as a solid fielder on ground.
He had to wait for long two years to make his ODI debut. It was because Sehwag-Gambhir duo was going so strong. His played his maiden ODI on 27 Feb 2010 against South Africa. Though he was a part of IPL team Chennai, he failed to give an impression. Currently he is a member of Delhi Daredevils.
