Munna Biography 
Munna is an Indian actor who concentrates mainly in Tamil movies. He was also a physiotherapist who has completed his Physiotherapy at Little Flower Hospital. He practiced Physiotherapy for a year in Chennai and later he set his eyes on acting.
He was born on 1st May. His parents named him as Kenny Simon. His native place was Agamally in Cochin, Kerala. He married Betty Mary of Thrissur on 7th February 2010. Munna was the nephew of actress Jayabharathi who has acted in many films.
Though he had a filmy background, he didn’t want to become an actor at first. After he became an actor in the Tamil film industry, he changed his name as Ashwin. Then later he thought this name as unlucky and turned to his pet name, Munna. His debut film was Gaurisankaram in Malayalam. It was released in 2003.
His works of his early years, Pallavan, Jananam and Unnai Enakku Pudichirukku were a great commercial failure. These films box office failures. However, his performance in the low budget thriller film Silandhi which was released in 2008 gave him positive reviews and he could gain attention in the Tamil film industry.
After that he acted in the successful movie Kandein Kadhalai with Bharath and Tamannaah Bhatia. Then he acted in Raavanan in a supporting role with Aishwarya Rai, Vikram Kennedy, Prithviraj, Sukumaran and Priyamani which was directed by Mani Ratnam.
The films that he has acted include Gaurisankaram, Janakan and Mohabbath in Malayalam, Pallavan, Jananam, Unnai Enakku Pudichirukku, Silandhi, Kandein Kdhalai and Raavanan in Tamil.
