Mohit Chauhan Biography 
Mohit Chauhan is one among the shining names of present Bollywood in the field of Bollywood singing. Though he started his career through pop albums like Silk route (Dooba dooba rahtha hoon) he is now one among the top singers of present Bollywood. Already he has got two Filmfare awards for the songs – Masakali of Delhi 6 and Jo bhi mein of Rockstar. He has been nominated for two more songs – Pee loon of Once upon a time in Mumbai and Sadda haq of Rockstar.
His major hits are Tum se hi of jab we met, all songs of Rockstar (Naadan parinthey, Sadda haq, Jo bhi mein and Phir se ud chala), Bheegi si of Rajneethi, Khoon chala of Rang de basanthi, Te amo of Dum maro dum, Tujhko mein paaya of Crook, Yeh dooriyan of Love aaj kal, Kuch khaas of Fashion, Pehli baar mohabbat of Kaminey, Tujhe bhula diya of Anjana anjani, Abhi kuch dino se of Dil to bacha hai jee, Is jahaan mein of Tum mile, Tu no jaa ne kahe of New York, Khabom ke parindey of Zindagi na milega dobara, Naina of Kuch luv jaisa and Baahuda of Kismat Connection.
Mohit Chauhan started his singing career through Silk route in the late 90’s. The song Dooda dooba, where he appeared in the video was the top chart buster during that time. Though he got small offers for playback singing in Bollywood, it was the melodious song ‘Tum se hi din hota hai’ of Jab we met of Pritam’s music that brought him to limelight. This movie was something like a new life to its crew and cast and became one of the big hits of the year too. Later offers came pouring in and he became leading voice of many heroes of Bollywood like Ranbir kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and Imraan Hashmi. The songs of Rockstar by A.R.Rehman is the milestone in the singing career of this great singer with melodious voice. Before that, A.R.Rehman had used his voice for movies like Raavan, Rang de basanthi and Dilli 6.
Songs of Dilli 6, Once upon a time in Mumbai and Rockstar has given him many awards in the recent times including Film fare awards, ZEE Cine awards and Star screen awards.
