Mithra (kannada Actor) Biography

Mithra is a noted Kannada actor, also known as a stand-up comedian, television actor, producer and entrepreneur. He has appeared in TV shows, Comedy Khiladigalu and Maja With Sruja apart from the Kannada version of the controversial show, Bigg Boss - Bigg Boss Kannada 3. Mithra gained popular through the popular sitcoms of Kannada television such as Silli Lalli , Paapa Pandu and Parijatha. He started his film journey in the year 2003, playing a bit role in Shreeram. Later he rose to prominence through the various comic roles he played on small and big screen, and has acted in more than 100 films in the past 15 years.

His real name is Shinu George. He hails from Kottayam, Kerala. He was born in the year 1977 to P. K. George and Mary Kutty. He is married to Geetha in Bengaluru and the couple has two children. He worked as a tourists' entertainer in Coorg district of Karnataka before he joined film industry. He was first seen in a small role in Shreeram, 2003 movie. He started accepting small roles, and slowly rose to prominence. He also accepted small roles for television during his early days, as he was fascinated towards acting. He capitulated to fame playing comic roles, and being a part of comedy sitcoms on television.

He shot to fame as Janesha, in the sitcom Silli Lalli which aired on ETV Kannada. As a film actor, he is best known for the supporting roles he played in Lifeu Ishtene (2011), Jackie (2010) and Manasare (2009). Apart from doing films and comedy shows, he also runs a holiday planning enterprise named "Mithra Enterprises".
