Mehrajuddin Wadoo Biography 
Mehrajuddin Wadoo is an Indian footballer and coach, who has played in the national team as well as Indian Super League - professional football league in India. He played for Chennayin F.C and Mumbai City F.C in ISL. He currently serves as the head coach of F.C Pune City U-18. Among Indian clubs, he had a successful career with East Bengal and Mohun Bagan teams, and played the role of a defender for his teams. Wadoo has represented India in many winning matches. He scored the winning goal against Bangladesh in the SAFF Cup finals at Karachi in 2005. He was a team member of Indian team which won Nehru Cup 2007, the AFC Challenge Cup 2008 and the Nehru Cup in 2009.
As a football player he has played for Jammu & Kashmir Police (2001–2002), HAL (2002–2003), ITI Limited (2003–2004), Mohun Bagan (2004–2007), East Bengal (2007–2011), Salgaocar (2011–2012), Mohun Bagan (2012–2013), Mohammedan (2013–2014), FC Pune City (2014), Bharat FC (loan) in 2014–2015, Chennaiyin (2015–2016), Sporting Clube de Goa (2016–2017) and Mumbai City FC in 2017. He has played 63 matches during his first stint in 2004–2007, scoring a total of 7 goals. During his second stint with the same team, he scored 2 goals from 7 matches. He also had a long term association with East Bengal, playing 55 matches and scoring 4 goals.
Mehrajuddin Wadoo was born on 12 February 1984 in Sarai Balla Srinagar. He schooled from Muyeen Public School, Sarai Balla and Sri Pratap High School, Srinagar, and completed graduation from Amar Singh College. He started playing football since 8, and he was motivated by his father to play this game. He has played in Jammu and Kashmir team for Santosh Trophy. He started out as a striker but then was converted into a defender, and he plays excellent in defensive midfielder position.
