Meera Muralidharan Biography

Meera Muralidharan is a noted television actress and anchor, who became popular through the television series – Amma. The reality show Munch Stars also gave her enough exposure to the entertainment world. This pretty actress is mostly seen in traditional wear in television serials. She also appeared in the video of devotional albums like Thrishoolam and a music video - Thrinethram. She is a recipient of Adoor Bhasi Television Award.

 

She was born in the year 1990 in the capital city of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram. She is a trained classical dancer, trained in different forms of classic dance since her childhood. She has been quite active in cultural events since her school days and has won many prizes. She took part in the reality show - Munch Stars on Asianet Television which shot her to instant fame, where she excelled as an artist in games, dance, scripts, outdoor shows, comedy etc and gave her a good platform to exhibit her talents.

 

Later she took acting, dancing and anchoring as her career. As an anchor, she anchored the cookery show titled, Taste Time on Asianet. Asianet Mega serial Amma, directed by Aadityan is her most noted performance as a television actress. She became a part of the how since 2012 and the show is still in the air. She portrays the character role of Anu in this series, which helped her to bag many awards.

 

She was later seen in the television soap “Indira”, aired on Mazhavil Manorama, where she portrayed the role of Meera. She also appears in the television series, "Aniyathi", directed by Shaiju Sukesh. This show is also aired on Mazhavil Manorama since 2014, where she plays the title role of among the two siblings.  Malayalam film "Seconds" is her first film, which is released in 2014.
