Mayuri Kyatari Biography

Mayuri Kyatari is a south Indian film actress who predominantly works in Kannada film industry. She made an impressive debut in Kannada films in year 2015, through the movie, Krishna Leela and was nominated at Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Kannada and also IIFA Utsavam Award for Best Performance in a Leading Role – Female. Till now she has appeared in more than a dozen of Kannada films including Ishtakamya, Nataraja Service, Kariya 2, Raambo 2, 8MM Bullet, Rustum, Nanna Prakara, Aatakuntu Lekakilla and Mounam. Pogaru is her upcoming release, and currently she is one of the most sought young actresses of Kannada cinema.

Mayuri Kyatari hails from Hubli, Karnataka. Geetha and Prakash Kyatari are her parents. Her school education was done at St Michaels, followed by Fathima College and higher education in Commerce at Oxford college, all at her hometown Hubli. She started her career as an anchor and also did modelling before she turned a full-time actress. She worked as an anchor for four years. She was first seen in the Kannada serial Ashwini Nakshatra, and she marked her acting debut with 2015 movie, Krishna Leela. Since then she did more than 10 movies in Kannada, yet she is still best known for her debut performance.

She made an impressive appearance in 2019 thriller film, Nanna Prakara, where she played lead role of murder victim. Her role as one of the characters named Vismaya who loves helping others, was well received. She has worked with several lead actors and filmmakers of present times. Mounam was her last release. She is motivated to do good roles in the industry, not at the cost of glamour and money.
