Mayank Agarwal Biography 
Mayank Agarwal is an Indian cricketer from Bangalore, Karnataka. He plays as an opening batsman for his team and is quite known for his attacking style. He is currently associated with domestic Karnataka team. Associated with first class and IPL matches till now, he has been selected to National team in 2018 for the first time. He has been picked for the home test series against West Indies. He joined Indian squad for the test series against Australia in December, when he replaced injured Prithvi Shaw. A well-known figure of IPL matches, he broke records in the 2017-18 domestic season for Karnataka.
Mayank Agarwal was born in Bangalore on 16 February 1991. He studied from Bishop Cotton Boys' School and Jain University in Bangalore. He is playing domestic cricket for Karnataka since 2010-2011 season. He came to prominence with his performances in the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy in 2008-2009. He finished as the top run scorer for India at 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He remained in top form throughout the season and was adjusted as Man of the Series in the Karnataka Premier League in 2010. His scores include a century in T-20 series as well.
He played his first IPL match for Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2011, and was retained for next two seasons as well. He was a team member of Delhi Daredevils during 2014-2016, followed by Rising Pune Supergiants in 2017. Currently he is playing for Kings XI Punjab. As of now he has played more than 70 List A matches scoring nearly 3500 runs. Though he was named in India's Test squad for their series against the West Indies, he didn’t get opportunity to play. He has been included in the test series against Australia as well, and is yet to make his international debut.
