Master Alok Biography

Master Alok, or simply Alok is a child artist associated with Malayalam cinema, who marked his acting debut in the year 2017. He played the titular role in the biopic film, Clint, where he essayed on screen child prodigy Clint, who in his short life span of almost 7 years drew around 25,000 wonderful paintings, before death took him away in the form of renal failure. He co-starred with Rima Kallingal and Unni Mukundan, for the venture directed by Harikumar.

Alok appeared for an audition for the film, and was lucky enough to get chosen from hundreds of kids who participated in the event. He came to know about this child prodigy from the movie’s associated director, Krishnanlal, and wondered about the little wonder who drew around 25000-30000 pictures & paintings during his shortest life span of just 7 years. After audition, he became a little nervous too, whether he can carry the role on his shoulders with sincerity. There are many heart breaking scenes in the movie throughout, and little Alok carried out with them with ease. He also met the real parents of Clint in personal.

When it was told about the death scene of Clint, his mother was at first not willing to give him a ‘yes’ node to do the film. He also went bald for the movie. Among different scenes, he found a little difficult to do song sequences, and very often shooting was done till early morning of 3 am. He dreams to become a film actor when he grows up. He also holds passion to become a scientist, and an astronaut who visits moon. Currently he studies at Devamatha CMI Public school, Thrissur, and has just completed his first standard studies.
