Mareena Michael Kurisingal Biography 
Mareena Michael Kurisingal is a budding actress who appears in Malayalam films, and she plays both lead and supporting roles on screen. She is a successful model who later forayed into films and is associated with film industry since 2014. Initially she played brief roles, and later moved to meaty ones. Chunkzz, Era, Happy Wedding, Karvva, Mumbai Taxi, Amar Akbar Anthony, Haram, Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram, Karibean Udayip etc are among her noted works where she appeared as a lead or supporting actress. She played parallel lead in an ensemble cast in a few of them. She is best known for her role in the 2017 film Aby with Vineeth Sreenivasan, where she played his love interest.
Mareena Michael Kurisingal has appeared in both and parallel lead roles. Initially she worked as a model. She got her first break to big screen through Tamil/Malayalam bilingual, Vaayai Moodi Pesavum/ Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram. The movie was released in 2014. Since then she is regular in Malayalam cinema. Her supporting roles in Happy Wedding and Ira, and lead role in Aby are memorable.
Mareena is basically from Kozhikode, where she grew up. She completed her schooling from Providence Girls HSS, Kozhikode. She completed her college studies also from Kozhikode. Her father Micheal is a mural painting artist. He also owns an orchestra in Kozhikode. Her mother Jessy is a homemaker. Mareena is a single child to her parents.
Her first stint with modelling happened when she appeared as a participant in Miss. Malabar, held in Kozhikode. She attended its audition casually, as suggested by her friend. Till then she didn’t even think about a career option through modelling. She got elected to top 10 and also earned the subtitle of Beautiful Smile. She started receiving modelling offers after that. That’s how she got into modelling.
