Manvitha Harish is a well-established film actress, belonging to Kannada film industry. She started her career as a Radio Jockey with Radio Mirchi, and later started her career as a film actress with 2015 film, Kendasampige directed by Duniya Soori. She made an impressive debut playing the role of Gowri Shetty and won SIMMA for Best Debutant Actor (Female). Chowka (2017), Kanaka (2018) and Tagaru (2018) are her released movies later, where she played lead role. Now she has a handful of film roles - Relax Satya, Tarakaasura, Arishadvarga and Nagathihalli Cinemas, which are under production stage.

RJ-turned-actress Manvitha Harish hails from Mangalore, Karnataka. Harish Kamath and Sujatha Kamath are her parents. Her real name is Shwetha Kamath. Her birthday falls on 13th April. Till 15, her childhood and early teens were spent in Kalasa of Chikmagalur, and later she moved to Mangalore. She graduated in Journalism, Animation and English literature from St.Aloysius College Mangalore. Soon after graduation, she started her professional career as an RJ with Radio Mirchi, Mangalore. She hosted the show Khiladi 983 for one year, before she joined film industry.

Her name was recommended to Duniya Soori by one of her acquaintances. She attended the auditions, and got selected for the female lead role of Kendasampige. Fluency in Kannada and driving skills apart from acting skills were the factors Soori looking for, and he could find all these factors in one girl –Manvitha and she was zeroed for the role. She earned rave reviews for her debut flick, and also bagged SIMMA for best debutante in female category. Very soon she turned a busy actress of Sandalwood, with plenty of good projects in hand.
