Manjari Biography 
Manjari is a leading playback singer of Malayalam at present. ‘Thamara kuruvikku thattamidu’ and ‘Swasathin Thalam’ of Achivinte Amma and Oru chiri kandaal of Ponmudi puzhayorathu (both released in the year 2005) made her a popular singer and after that she has contributed a lot of Malayalam film industry through her melodious voice. She won Asianet Film awards for best playback singer for the song, ‘Thamara kuruvikku thattamidu’ the same year. She has won the Kerala State Film Award for the best female singer twice. First she won it in the year 2004, for the song Mukilin makale in the film Makalku and second in 2008 for the song Mullulla Murikkinmel in Vilapangalkappuram. Chinni Chinni of Urumi remains the most popular song of Manjari which accumulated numerous awards including Kerala Film Critics Award.
Manjari was born on 17 April 1986 Thiruvananthapuram and grew up in Muscat. Her schooling was done at Muscat. At school, she made her first stage performance for the rock band, Shiva when she was 13. She debut playback singing in the year 2005 and from there on, her singing talents have been widely appreciated. Apart from the magical beginning with the couple of movies, Achivinte Amma and Ponmudi puzhayorathu, she has also won numerous awards and appreciation. In the following year, she sang one of the top songs of 2006 – Aattinkarayorathu of Rasathandram, for Meera Jasmine. With this song, she didn’t look back and still remains in the top slot of singers. Similar to Achuvinte Amma, Rasathandram was also offered by Ilaiyaraaja and she won Asianet awards for best female playback singer also.
