Madalasa Sharma Biography

Madalsa Sharma is an Indian model and upcoming actress who concentrates most on south Indian movies. Now she has successfully entered Bollywood playing lead roles. Apart from south Indian languages (except Malayalam) she has also acted in a foreign language film in German. She has appeared in two Hindi and one Punjabi movie also. In all these movies she played lead role. Her latest release is 2014 Hindi detective thriller - Samrat & Co. released on April 25. However the movie received mixed response. She made her Tamil debut through 2010 disaster, Thambikku Indha Ooru where she played second lead.

She is a Maharastrian born in Mumbai. She is the daughter of film maker Subhash Sharma and actress Sheela Sharma. She completed her graduation from Mithibai College. Since childhood she dreamt to become an actress. To pursue her dream as an actress, she took acting classes under Kishore Namit Kapoor and also joined dance schools of Ganesh Acharya and Shiamak Davar. 2009 Telugu movie, Fitting Master marked her screen entry. Later she appeared in a few more south Indian movies belonging to Tamil, Telugu and Kannada before making her Bollywood debut through 2011 movie Angle. She played lead role opposite Nilesh Sahay and the movie was directed by choreographer Ganesh Acharya. The movie received cold response from box office.

She continued with south Indian movies and also appeared in one German TV series, The Girl with the Indian Emerald where she played the role of Mala. She was to debut Bollywood with Abbas Mastan’s thriller. But things didn’t work out. Meanwhile she got Ganesh Acharya’s movie. In her debut Punajbi movie, Patiala Dreamz she was paired opposite Sarwar Ahuja.
