Linda Arsenio Biography

Linda Arsenio is an American actress and model from Texas who predominantly appears in Indian films of different languages, including Hindi and Malayalam. She played the role of Jessica Beckham, a journalist from New York in the fictional dystopian-adventure Bollywood film Kabul Express directed by Kabir Khan for which she is known most. Linda has also been associated with a few Malayalam movies like Pazhassi Raja and Dam 999. She was also seen in Bollywood low-budget movies such as Aloo Chaat, Help, Mumbai Salsa etc apart from several item numbers as a dancer in several south Indian flicks since 2005.

Linda Arsenio was born on June 20, 1978 in Galveston Island, Texas, United States. She was born to a Salvadoran mother and a Yugoslavian father, and has three siblings who live in Texas. She did a two-year graduation course in acting from Actors’ Conservatory in Dallas, and also did an acting course in New York. Later she became a part of professional theatre in Texas and New York and also got associated with musicals. She made her acting début in an English independent film, called The Process of Creative Deception.

Since 2005 she has been associated with south Indian cinema, mostly associated with dance numbers. She was seen in dance sequences of the Tamil movies, Sachein, Kana Kandaen and Thotti Jaya and also one Telugu film named Bhadra before she made her Bollywood debut with Kabul Express in 2006, co-starring John Abraham. Her role as Jessica Beckham was well appreciated. She also appeared in Tamil short films - My Dear Father and Self Defence, before accepting a few more film roles in Bollywood and Malayalam languages. Dam 999 in 2011 was her last film release.
