Kuri Prathap Biography 
Kuri Prathap is a film actor in the Kannada film industry, best known for the roles he played in Mylari (2010), Brindavana (2013), and Auto Raja (2013), Pataki (2017), Kotigobba 2 (2016) and Eradu Kanasu (2017). Prathap is also a part of Colors Kannada's sketch comedy show, Majaa Talkies. The show indeed made him popular among Kannada audiences. He was also seen in the popular prank show, Kurigalu Saar Kurigalu, the show which helped him to rose to prominence. Kuri Prathap has established himself as a popular comedian of films and television, over the years. He has worked in more than 60 Kannada films, portraying different kinds of roles. He is active in the entertainment industry since 2010.
Prathap is his real name. He hails from Karnataka, and is a part of Kannada entertainment industry. He appears in both films and movies, predominantly in comic roles. He came to prominence after he appeared in a prank show called Kurigalu Saar Kurigalu, which is telecasted in Udaya TV. The role helped him to bag more comic roles from movies. He started his career with the movie Mr. Theertha.
He played lead role opposite Nikitha in 2014 comedy film, Software Ganda, when he replaced Naveen Phadeel, famous Tulu stage actor. The actor found it difficult to cope with the Kannada language, and he got replaced. His recent releases include Prema Baraha, Kinaare, Raju - Kannada Medium, Shathaya Gathaya, Raja Loves Radhe and Nanjundi Kalyana, all released in 2018. Currently he is very busy with Kannada films, playing notable character and comic roles. He mostly appeared in the game show Family Power in 2018.
