Ksshitij Chaudhary Biography

Ksshitij Chaudhary is a Punjabi film director of present times. Jatts In Golmaal, Mr & Mrs 420 and Yaara O Dildaara are some of his major hits as a film director. He started his film journey with DVD film Meri Vahuti Da viyah, and made his first feature film, Heer Ranjha: A True Love Story in 2009. The movie starring Harbhajan Mann was a major hit, and Ksshitij Chaudhary completed 10 successful years in Punjabi entertainment industry. He is associated with commercial and masala entertainers in Punjabi cinema.

Ksshitij Chaudhary hails from Punjab. He was born in Amritsar. Since young he got drawn towards the world of films and music, and made up his mind to pursue his dreams in entertainment field. He started his professional life making DVD films for small audience, before he got big break as a full-fledged director in Punjabi cinema. He directed first full-length movie, Heer Ranjha: A True Love Story in 2009. He made one more movie with the same actor Harbhajan Mann two years later. The movie was titled Yaara O Dildaara, which helped him to earn initial recognition in the industry.

It was followed by commercial hits - Jatts In Golmaal, Mr & Mrs 420 etc. The director has always tried something fresh to Punjabi big screen. However most of his films are male centric, and heroines getting lesser screen spaces, which is the normal trend in Punjabi movies. Main Teri Tu Mera, Vekh Baraatan Challiyan, Bailaras, Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua, Mr & Mrs 420 Returns and Uda Aida are his other releases. Apart from singer-actor Harbhajan Mann, he has worked with film actors such as Ranjit Bawa, Binnu Dhillon, Tarsem Jassar, Amrinder Gill etc.
