Krunal Pandya Biography 
Krunal Pandya is a budding Indian cricketer who serves as an all-rounder for his team. He bats left-handed and bowls slow left-arm orthodox. A permanent player of Baroda and India A in domestic cricket, he was chosen by Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2018 for a whooping amount of 8.8 Crores. His younger brother, Hardik Pandya also got selected for Mumbai Indians in this edition of IPL, and he is a valuable player of Indian National Team too.
His full name is Krunal Himanshu Pandya. He was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on 24 March 1991. Pandya made his first-class debut on 6 October 2016 in Ranji Trophy, as a member of Baroda team. He became the Leading Run Scorer and Leading Wicket taker for Baroda in 2016-17 Vijay Hazare Trophy very soon, and counted among one of the valuable players of the team. In 2017, he also got opportunity to play for India – A team in tri-series against South Africa A and Afghanistan A. He has played for his regional team Baroda in Baroda Cricket Association XI, Baroda Under-15s, Baroda Under-17s and Baroda Under-19s.
He played his first IPL match in 2016 season, where he was purchased by Mumbai Indians for 2 crore Indian rupees. In January 2018, he was bought by the Mumbai Indians in the 2018 IPL auction. He is one among the most valuable players of the tournament, and ranks at position 9 in terms of biggest buys of IPL. He plays along with his brother for his team.
During his younger days, his father Himanshu used to take both his sons to the stadium in Vadodara when the cricket carnival arrives in the town. That’s how siblings got drawn to the game and they started training at Kiran More's academy in the city. Krunal is seen as a limited-overs specialist, and he concentrates on IPLs and One-day matches.
