Krishnabhaskar Mangalasserri Biography

Krishnabhaskar Mangalasserri is a film actor and model associated with Malayalam entertainment industry. He is also a writer, novelist and screenwriter. He made his acting debut with Sathyan Anthikad’s Puthiya Theerangal (2012), and later got busy in Malayalam cinema with various roles. He is also known as an academic and novelist. He plays character roles onscreen. He co-scripted Malayalam film, Asha Black. As an actor he was seen in the films - Asha Black, Puthiya Theerangal, American-born Confused Desi (ABCD) etc. He also acted in Malayalam short films such as The yellow pen and Scene contra. He has published one novel in two parts – Hiranyagarbham.

Krishnabhaskar was born on 2 November 1973 in Kollam, Kerala. He studied from University of Madras. He currently is settled in Kochi, where he is active in film industry as well as working as Corporate Lead - Events and communication for Aster DM Healthcare. Since school days he was interested in acting, and got associated with school and college plays. While doing his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Madurai Kamaraj University, he won best actor medals and also best student's medals. As a performing artist on stage and a good student at college, he carried both these roles with ease.

After completing his MBA, he started his professional career with an ad agency in Chennai, and later moved to Dubai where he continued with his corporate profession.  He co-founded Aim2aim talent management with Naressh Krishna in the late 2010s and also started modelling career. As a film actor, he entered Malayalam film industry in 2012, and moved to screenwriting field as well. Musli power, Malayala Manorama, Sharon PVC pipes, Sulthan Gold etc are among the brands where he worked as a model.
