Kavita Lad is a noted actress associated with Marathi entertainment industry. She appears in movies, TV shows and also Marathi theatre. She is very successful through her TV shows, and is best known for her roles in Char Divas Sasuche, Unch Maaza Zoka, Radha Hi Bawari and Radha Prem Rangi Rangli. She is quite active in theatre also, and has been a part of successful Marathi plays such as Eka Lagnachi Goshta, Sundar Mi Honar, Chaar Divas Premache and Eka Lagnachi Pudhuchi Ghoshta. She is also a TV host.

Kavita Lad hails from Maharashtra. She has been a stage actress before joining film industry. She got her first break into celluloid through Marathi film, Ghayal in 1993. The movie was directed by N. Chandra, and Kavitha played the lead role opposite Ajinkya Deo. In the 1990s she played female lead opposite many popular actors. Some of her movies in lead role include Chal Kanvariya Shiv Ke Dham, Jigar and Tu Tithe Mee. She took a small break from acting after marriage and returned in the second half of 2000s. She later portrayed character roles on screen.

Kavita was equally successful through countless roles she played on small screen. She also successfully hosted many Marathi TV shows. Radha Pream Rangi Rangli, Char Divas Sasuche with Rohini Hattangadi, Unch Maaza Zoka, Radha Hi Bawari, Kay Pahilas Mazyat, Dar Uagada Na Gade, Tumcha Amcha Same Asta, Tuzya Vachun Karmena etc are some of her Marathi TV shows. She has also acted in a few Hindi soaps. Chandrakant Chiplunkar Seedi Bambawala was her first Hindi TV show. Love You Zindagi and Girlfriend are her most recent Marathi flicks.
