Kabir Duhan Singh Biography
Kabir Duhan Singh is a model and actor from Faridabad, known for playing negative roles in south Indian film industry. One of the leading antagonists of south Indian film industry at present, he made his promising debut in the year 2015 with the Telugu movie ‘Jil’, where he played the main villain - Chota Nayak, followed by Kick - 2. He made his Tamil debut with Vedalam and his first Kannada film is Chalaki. The new villain of the block, who became an overnight sensation with the debut flick, Kabir has a series of Telugu projects right now – Speedunnodu, Sardaar Gabbar Singh, Tuntari, Dictator and Krishnashtami.
Belonged to Haryana, he was born on September 8, 1986. Moved to Mumbai in 2011, he took modelling as his career. He has done ramp walk for several successful Fashion Week shows and has also appeared in several international shows. He has also appeared in the ad campaigns of Levis, Yamaha, ITC etc. Though he got a Bollywood offer aside Shiny Ahuja, the movie didn’t take off following Ahuja’s downfall. Kabir was already 27 then and he was determined to do something. He joined theatre to learn acting and it was during that time when he was signed for his debut south Indian film - ‘Jil’. The movie was produced by Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati, and starred Gopichand and Rashi Khanna as well.
Following its success he got his second assignment - Kick 2 starring Ravi Teja, directed by Surender Reddy. This movie too was equally successful as his debut film and he cemented his position as the leading villain of Telugu films. He has rejected roles in a Ram Charan film, Bengal Tiger and a couple of Tamil films. With a handful of projects, Kabir Duhan Singh believes that a villain should stay fit and healthy for his screen roles. He wants to use his powerful eyes to distinguish himself from other antagonists in the industry.
