Kabali Vishwanth Biography

Kabali Vishwanth is a film actor associated with Tamil films, best known for playing supporting roles. Became a part of the industry doing bit roles and assisting directors, he got his breakthrough role through Rajinikanth starrer Kabali in the year 2016. After the huge success of the film, his character got noticed and ‘Kabali’ tag got permanently added to his name. He played the character role of Jai in the film, for which he is known most. Now he has a handful of films in his kitty. He is associated with Tamil cinema from early 2010s, and has struggled a lot for a long time to earn recognition and success.

He started his career in the year 2010, playing a grey shaded role in S. A. Chandrasekhar's Veluthu Kattu. After that he started getting roles, but only less significant ones. Some of them include - Arun Vijay's friend in Thadaiyara Thaakka (2012), as Dinesh's elder brother in Attakathi (2012), and as Prakash Raj's neighbour in Dhoni (2012). After that he started assisting Tamil choreographer, Sridhar for a few years.

In 2016, he earned his first major role of his career. He was offered to play the role of a Chennai-based gangster hired to protect Rajinikanth's lead character in Kabali, the film directed by Pa. Ranjith. After the movie release, he added ‘Kabali’ tag to his name for his professional assignments. After Kabali’s release, he got some meaty roles in Tamil cinema, such as Onaaigal Jakkiradhai, Sketch – both released in 2018 and upcoming, Sandakozhi 2. Onaaigal Jakkiradhai marked his debut in a lead role, and actor has now signed for an untitled Bollywood project too, where he plays a notable supportable supporting role.
