K. K. Senthil Kumar Biography 
K. K. Senthil Kumar is a successful and young cinematographer best known for the works of Telugu cinema. An ace cinematographer of Tollywood at present he is best known for his association with the ace filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli. He is most successful with Rajamouli films as well. He worked with the director for the films - Sye, Chatrapati, Yamadonga, Magadheera, Eega, and Baahubali: The Beginning. He currently works for Baahubali: The Conclusion, one of the most awaited projects of 2017. Magadheera, Eega, and Baahubali are his major works up-to-date. He is to debut Malayalam film industry through Karnan – the most expensive film of Malayalam.
Senthil hails from Secunderabad of present day Telangana. His father’s name is Krishna Murthy. He has two siblings and he is the eldest of three children. His childhood was spent in Bolaram, Secunderabad. He is married to Ruhee, a yoga instructor and has two sons. He graduated in cinematography from FTII, Pune. He made his debut in the year 2003 with the Telugu film – Aithe directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti. His long term association with Rajamouli began in 2004 with the film – Sye. He has also worked with other directors of Tollywood like C H Subba Reddy, Mohan Krishna Indraganti and Kodi Ramakrishna. He feels that Eega is the most difficult film he has shot.
Baahubali team continuously worked for almost three years to give the visual treat to its audience. Apart from Senthil, the editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao has also worked with the director for so many years since his debut film – Student No.1. Baahubali is also one of the few films featured in BBC’s documentary on 100 Years of Indian cinema. Senthil received SIIMA award for Best Cinematographer for Eega in 2012. Magadheera received Filmfare Awards South and CineMAA Awards. Yamadonga received CineMAA Awards in 2008.
