Joemon Joshy Biography

Joemon Joshy is a film actor associated with Mollywood, best known for supporting roles. He started his film career as a child artist with 1999 movie Puraskaram, and later moved to adult roles. As a child artist, some of his noted roles are Sahayathrikakku Snehapoorvam, Rakshasa Rajavu, Meerayude Dukhavum Muthuvinte Swapnavum and Chronic Bachelor. He moved to adult roles in year 2010, and since then has appeared in around 25 films. He has also done a few TV shows, both as child artist and adult actor.

Joemon Joshy was born in Ernakulam on 2 September 1988. He studied from C.M.E Public School at Ochanthuruth and Little Flower High School at Narakkal. Later he graduated in Journalism from Bharata Mata College, Thrikkakara. He is associated with Malayalam screen since 1999, and has completed 2 decades in the industry. Puraskaram directed by K.P Venu in 1999 was his first appearance as a screen actor. Later he also did child role in popular TV show, Kayamkulam Kochunni. Velankkani Mathavu, Butterflies, Chakravakam, Gajarajan Guruvayur Keshavan, 4 the People are some of his TV shows. Currently he is associated with TV show Chinthavishtayaya Seetha since 2016, where he plays supporting role of Shyju on screen.

Pokkiri Raja, Kandahar etc are some of his early adult roles. He played character roles. It was followed by Bhaskar The Rascal, Kamuki, Medulla Oblangata, Thilothamma, Michaelnte Santhathikal, Bellari Raja, Fortkochile Njanga Mattacherile Ninga etc. The movie 99 Street directed by Sandeep Ajith Kumar marked his debut in a lead role. The movie was released in 2019 to cold responses. As a child artist he has shared screen space with Mammootty, Dileep, Innocent, Prithviraj etc.
