Jass Bhatia Biography

Jass Bhatia is an Indian actor and model who has done a few supporting roles in Bollywood films. He has also done a couple of television soaps of which his role as Happy in Rab Se Sona Ishq and the character Bakshish in Firangi Bahu made him a popular actor. As a supporting actor, he was seen in movies like Kill Dill, I Don't Luv U, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Mausam. Jass made his film debut through Mausam, where he placed the memorable role of a Sardar lad, Karthal romancing Aditi Sharma. It happened to be his debut film too.

Jass was born on 29 June 1988 in Ludhiana, Punjab. His real name is Jaskaran Singh Bhatia. He uses his grandmother’s name, Jass as his screen name. His family was into the business. His elder brother Gagan Bhatia is a commercial pilot. When Jass was three, the family moved to Delhi where they got settled. He schooled at Guru Nanak Public School. Jass started his career as a model in 2007 where he worked in several television commercials and print ads. It includes ad of a Haryana local party too. He also did an Alto K10 ad.

He made his film debut through the supporting role of Kartar, in Shahid Kapoor-Sonam Kapoor starrer Mausam in 2012. Then he appeared in a couple of television soaps before he got active in film industry once again. He played the role of Mahinder in the sports drama - Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. The actor had to chop off his hair for the role, though he was born into a strict Sikh family. He played Farhan’s friend and one of his big breaks in the industry.
