Ipsita Pati is a film actress, model and dancer. She is also a winner of numerous beauty pageants such as Indian Princess, Miss Asia and Miss International. She is also associated with politics and affiliated to Bharatiya Janata Party. She is a singer and philanthropist too. In 2008, she won the Miss South India title. In 2010, she became a finalist of Miss Universe India. She is a recipient of Andhra Ratna and Youth Icon awards from the state government of Andhra Pradesh and Orissa respectively. She was a Brand Ambassador and Jury Member at World Film Festival in San Francisco, USA. She made her Bollywood debut with 2015 film, Chor Bazaari in lead role.

Ipsita Pati was born on 18 June 1991 in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Her father Byomakesh Pati is an artist and painter. Her mother Pooja Pati is a former actress and model who appeared in Odiya and Bengali films. Her younger sister Anwesha Pati is a performer. Ipsita has completed her graduation and currently pursuing Masters of Public Administration from Andhra University. She turned a ramp model at a very young age of 16. In 2008, she won the Miss South India title. It was her first major win in a beauty contest in India. since then she has won many beauty contests and subtitles too.

In 2010 she was shortlisted in I AM She – Miss Universe India contest and shortlisted among 30 best contestants. But she was dropped out from the list. She alleged that she was "intentionally removed" from the list, and that organizers showed partiality. She marked her screen debut with 2015 film, Chor Bazaari, which told the story of a family of thieves. The movie flopped at box office.
