Indraneel Bhattacharya is a popular actor associated with Hindi television. He has also done a few film roles in Bollywood, and shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in Fan and Akshay Kumar in Rustom, both released in 2016 to positive reviews. He played SRK’s lawyer in Fan. Golmaal Again, Noor, Jai Gangaajal etc are a few more Bollywood releases. A veteran actor of Indian television and film industry, he worked in many serials and movies. He is married to actress Anjali Mukhi. As a television actor, he earned fame through the series, Sasural Genda Phool.

Indraneel Bhattacharya was born on 14 October 1970. He is married to actress Anjali Mukhi, a well-established name in television scene. He owns 3rd Dan Black belt in TaeKwonDo, yet never played roles related to it. He is a foodie and a passionate chef too. As a television actor he appeared in Kumkum - Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania, Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari, Ram Milaayi Jodi, Gustakh Dil, Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam, Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara and the most significant one - Sasural Genda Phool.

Shanoo Sharma saw her in a TVC ad and called. Three auditions later, he became a small part of the movie, Fan, in which he played the role of King Khan’s lawyer. He had a very small role in 'Jai Gangaajal’, and thus got opportunity to work with Priyanka Chopra and Prakash Jha. While doing a small role with Akshay Kumar in Rustom, he wanted to match some moves with Akshay as he owns Black belt in TaeKwonDo. It remains his unfulfilled dream. He played a naval officer in the movie Rustom. He was seen as Captain CP Cherian in the film.
