Imran Khan is a noted actor who works in Bollywood and television also. Quite a familiar face on small and big screen, he owns many notable character roles to his credit. He is quite regular in Bollywood movies, playing friend or brother’s roles. He is also a director, writer and producer of Bollywood films, television and also ad films. He marked his film debut in 1991, and has completed 25 years in the industry playing different kinds of character roles – from comedy to grey shaded ones.

Imran Khan hails from Mumbai. His younger days were spent in this city, where he completed his education. He holds a Commerce degree. He is associated with entertainment industry since 1990s, and has completed 25 years in this field. He was first seen in 1991 Bollywood film Inteha Pyar Ki starring Rishi Kapoor. Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, Sooryavansham, Hawa, Heroine, Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji, Kismat, Big Brother, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Sooryavansham etc are among his noted character roles. Tara was his first television show. Humse Hai Liife, Tara, Mere Rang Mein Rangne Wali, Hero Uncle, Ajnabee, Nagin, Beintehaa etc are among his television roles. Currently he is a part of the show, Beyhadh since 2016.

Apart from acting in films, he is active as a film producer. In 2016 he produced one Bollywood film, Sargoshiyan starring Tom Alter, Fareeda Jalal, Alok Nath, Shahbaz Khan, Khalid Siddiqui and Sara Afreen Khan. The movie was extensively shot in the Kashmir Valley. It was the first movie crew to have come here after former Chief Minister) Mufti Mohammad Sayeed invited several Bollywood celebrities for the promotion of Kashmir tourism.
