Hemant Madhukar Biography

Hemant Madhukar is a Telugu film producer and director whose upcoming Bollywood flick Mumbai 125 KM 3D, stars Veena Malik, Karanvir Bohra and Vedita Pratap Singh in pivot roles. The horror flick is being made in three different languages – Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Earlier he has scripted and directed two Telugu movies - A Flat (2010) and Vastadu Naa Raju (2011). He was a celebrity judge for the popular show Lux Dream girl aired on Gemini TV in 2011. He is the son of famous south Indian film maker, K. Baburao of Rama Vijetha Films.

He was born in Chennai in 1977. He started his film career as an associate under director Raviraja Pinisetty and has also worked under many south Indian filmmakers. He made his directorial debut with 2010 Bollywood flick – A flat. This thriller starring Sanjay Suri, Jimmy Shergill, Kaveri Jha and Aindrita Ray didn’t perform well at box office. The movie also received cold response from critics. He made his Telugu film debut with Vastadu Naa Raju. This action film starred Taapsee Pannu and Vishnu Manchu in the lead roles and received good response from critics and public. Mumbai 125 KM 3D is his third venture. Similar to his debut movie, he is experimenting with horror genre and the movie is slated to get released in October 2014.

Already there are rumours about his linkup with the actress Veena Malik who plays the lead role in his upcoming flick. Hemant is already married to Tripta Madhukar. Veena has always remained in news and controversies for one reason or other.
